1. What is SAAH?
SAAH is the Swiss-Armenian Academy of Hospitality, an innovative educational institution based in Gyumri, Armenia, offering Swiss-certified vocational hospitality education through the globally recognized VET by EHL program, developed by the École hôtelière de Lausanne.
2. Who can apply to SAAH?
Anyone aged 18 and above who has completed secondary education and is passionate about hospitality and service excellence can apply. We welcome students from across Armenia, the region, and the diaspora.
3. What level of English is required?
A basic B1 level of English is recommended. Students who do not yet meet this level may be offered a place in our intensive language course prior to starting the main program.
4. What qualifications will I receive after graduation?
Graduates will receive an internationally recognized VET by EHL certificate, backed by EHL Group, the world’s top-ranked hospitality management school.
5. Where is the Academy located?
SAAH is located at the Grand Hotel Gyumri by Apricot Hotels, offering students the unique opportunity to study and train in a real hospitality environment from day one.
6. What does the tuition fee include?
The annual tuition fee of 4,500 CHF covers the EHL license fee, all educational materials, access to professional facilities, workshops, and student support services. Housing and meals are not included.
7. Are scholarships available?
Yes! SAAH offers need-based scholarships to ensure talented students from all backgrounds can access world-class hospitality education. We have special conditions for displaced people from Artsakh, Armenian Army veterans and those in need. Apply early to be considered.
8. Will I gain practical experience during my studies?
Absolutely. SAAH follows the "Learning by Doing" model. Students train in real-life hospitality settings and benefit from industry placements and internships.
9. Are there career opportunities after graduation?
Yes. SAAH works closely with local and international hospitality partners to offer job placement opportunities. Our goal is to make every graduate job-ready and employable globally.
10. Can international students apply?
Yes, we welcome applications from regional and international students, especially from neighboring countries and the Armenian diaspora. Our programs are taught in English.
11. How do I apply?
