Culinary Art

As a Graduate of the Culinary Art Professional Diploma you will be proficient in the following activities and will be distinguished by the following behaviors:

• You will prepare hot and cold food dishes following different recipes and different methods of cooking.

• You will demonstrate the ability to work in kitchen operations autonomously and in team, even under stressful circumstances.

• You will consider and operate according to clients’ wishes, demonstrating team spirit and following an economic and ecological mindset.

• You will be proficient with the principles of occupational health and safety, health protection and environmental protection.

Food & Beverage Service 

As a Graduate of the F&B Service Professional Diploma you will be proficient in the following activities and will be distinguished by the following behaviors:

• You will organize events according to an establishment's guidelines, and they ensure that the layout of the restaurant space is fitting and that the atmosphere is welcoming.

• You will create a pleasant atmosphere and ensure the well-being of your customers.

• You will identify the specific needs of their guests and take appropriate measures to satisfy them.

• You will prepare the Food & Beverage service, both in the daily service and for events, and you will advise customers on appropriate beverages. You will make blends and present cocktails, and then serve the beverages to customers.

• You will use reservation, order and cash register systems, establish bills and collect revenue.

• You will master the principles of hygiene and occupational safety. You will ensure that the value of premises, installations and appliances is preserved, and that energy and equipment are used economically.

Hotel Operations

As a Graduate of the Hotel Operations Professional Diploma you will be proficient in the following activities and will be distinguished by the following behaviors:

• You will welcome guests according to an establishment's guidelines, and ensure that a hospitable customer experience is delivered.

• You will be aware of the importance of cleanliness, maintenance and laundry work as well as organizational tasks, including logistics for all back-of the-house activities.

• You will effectively use a property management system. You will make reservations, perform check-ins and check-outs, establish bills and collect revenue.

• You will master the principles of hygiene and occupational safety. You will ensure that the value of premises, installations and appliances are preserved, and that energy and equipment are used economically.

• You will prepare the food & beverage service, both in the daily service and for events, and will advise customers on appropriate beverages.
